The service offered is richer and more timely thanks in part to a specific technological choice: Oracle for the IT infrastructure and Var Group and its Oracle Competence Centre as a partner for the value services associated with it; a move to the cloud that confirms technological continuity with Oracle and entrusted to Var Group at all stages of migration.

Ape was prompted to move to the cloud by the need for simpler management of the large amounts of data accumulated over time, guaranteeing total security and immediate accessibility.This was paired with a need for scalable technology that shapes ideas as they are developed: experimenting with functionality and services and building a development roadmap through practical feedback without added costs.

Oracle technology also benefits all actors operating in this sector. Firms, companies and employees can consult documents with personalised logins, with security against risks of intrusion and data loss.

The partnership between Oracle and Var Group was further consolidated with adoption of Autonomous Database, which provided important benefits: a drastic reduction in manual work and an even more efficient and accessible service, with intelligent control of costs through the automatic scalability of Oracle ADB. All of this is guaranteed with a high level of data and system security. The experience of customers was so positive that another Autonomous DB for DR (disaster recovery) was considered for another Region.
